Initial Contact
When potential pilgrims fill out the Connect With Us form, a Lay Director will email the team and other interested folks to see who has time to connect with them.
Do you have time to contact?
Out goal is to get back with the potential pilgrim within 24 hours - sooner if possible - so the first person who has time will get the privilege to serve..
Preferred Communication Method
Potential Pilgrims select which method of communication they prefer (text, phone or email) and you’ll contact them that way.
Answer any and all questions
Meet them where they are and save the three Holy Moments (Candlelight, Dying Moments and Letters) unless they really want to know. Remember that the purpose of our new site is total transparent.
Review the Website
Familiarize yourself with the website, including all FAQ’s so you’ll know what they are already familiar with.
Follow Up
Be personal but not pushy (no one likes that). You will forward them the application and get one of your Emmaus buddies to sponsor them. Introduce the two via email or conference call.
