The Walk to Emmaus:

Deep, meaningful connections with God and with others

The Walk to Emmaus is a three-day spiritual retreat designed to bring you closer to Christ and give you a renewed spirit and love of servanthood.

Get unplugged from your hectic day-to-day life. Get fired up and plug back in a meaningful and spiritual way.

The Walk to Emmaus is about finding Connections, Community, and Purpose.

Servanthood

The Walk to Emmaus aims to build servant leaders for the local church. Whether you are a long-time believer or just starting out on your journey, we meet you where you are in your Christian Walk.

Exactly what happens during the three days?

Talks

Some say the talks are like a short course in Christitany. Given by clergy and non-clergy they make the point but are peppered with personal stories that inspire you.

Table Discussions

After each talk, your small group will discuss what each individual heard and talk about how it may relate to their experiences. No theological debates, just solid sharing.

Creative Expression

After the table discussions, each table develops its interpretation of the topic and presents to the entire group. Sometimes funny, sometimes serious but really fun.

Music

Music is an essential part of the weekend. From traditional hymns to Contemporary rock songs, music helps deepen your connections to worship and each other.

Individual Time

Plenty of breaks where you can get away from the group and relax, take a nap, toss the football or frisbee or just sit under a tree and ponder on what you are learning.

Holy Moments

There are some especially meaningful moments that happen throughout the weekend. If you’re the type of person who reads the last chapter first, you can know alll of them- just ask
